Marcos Rico: It’s not you, It’s me
10 January, 2017
It’s not you, It’s me is a hand-made collage series made for the Weart Festival in Barcelona. The concept of the festival revolved around the theme of Ego.
This project reflects the loss of the individual identity in the context
of relationships. Exploring the limits of human relationships through representation of body and its relation to the event of indefinite time memory, absence and chance. Elements of coercion, manipulation and fear are opposed to the aesthetic purity and lightness that define the beginning of a search.
Marcos Rico is a photographer and artist based in London.
